Pork Chops with Stuffing

An easy stuffing plus cream of mushroom soup keep this pork chops with stuffing recipe moist and delicious. It's sure to become part of your regular dinner rotation.

Ingredients

  • 2 tablespoons canola oil
  • 4 boneless pork loin chops (6 ounces each and 1 inch thick)
  • 3 cups day-old french bread cubes (1/2 inch)
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 2 tablespoons chopped celery
  • 2 tablespoons chopped onion
  • 1/4 teaspoon poultry seasoning
  • 1 can (10-3/4 ounces) condensed cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
  • 1/3 cup water

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°. In a large skillet, heat oil over medium heat and brown pork chops on both sides. Place in an ungreased 13x9-in. baking pan. In a large bowl, toss bread cubes, butter, broth, celery, onion and poultry seasoning. Spoon about 1/2 cup stuffing on each pork chop.
  2. Combine soup and water; pour over chops. Cover and bake for 20 minutes. Uncover; bake 10-15 minutes or until a thermometer inserted into the pork reads 145°. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
