Sliced Steak Pizzaiola

Drescription

Pizza topped with thinly sliced steak and traditional pizzaiola sauce.

Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 1/2 pounds beef flank steak
  • 2 medium onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon italian seasoning,
  • crushed
  • 2 cups pregoВ® traditional italian
  • sauce

Directions

  1. Heat oil in skillet. Add steak and cook about 8 minutes or until
  2. browned. Remove steak.
  3. Add onions, garlic and Italian seasoning and cook until tender.
  4. Return steak to pan. Add pasta sauce. Cook over low heat until
  5. desired doneness (3 minutes for medium-rare).
  6. Slice steak into thin diagonal slices. Serve with sauce.
